Role: Leadership Development Leader
About the role
The role revolves around supporting the Head – OD, L&D in driving effective change in people processes by designing, developing and deploying structured leadership learning frameworks to enhance overall business performance. This involves leader development – planned as well as ad-hoc interventions, as required by the business, defining leadership development framework – planned, holistic short term and long term initiatives.
He/she will lead the deployment of appropriate methods of Need Analysis to diagnose Learning Needs across the Organisation, consult with business leaders and managers to identify business needs/trends and identify performance/skill-set gaps, ensure all Learning Interventions are in line with the Organizational objectives.
He/She will monitor the design of solutions which are objective-oriented and focused on application of knowledge and skills and ensure that a blended-delivery approach is used to design learning (coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning & e-learning etc.), create effective feedback mechanisms to capture the impact of development activities at Organizational, Team And Individual Level.
The candidate will evaluate a range of appropriate and accessible Learning & Development Tools and encourage their use, ensure that learning content is developed using the appropriate instructional tools/platforms, supervise and coach the creation of high quality learning materials and documents such as training manuals and instruction manuals
Leadership Development Leader will ensure effective feedback mechanisms are in place to track and analyse the impact of development activities at Organizational, Team & Individual Level, and conduct periodic research across books, publications, etc., to keep updated on the current and leading L&OD processes, design appropriate data questionnaires, administer them and collect data; analyze the data to identify needs related trends and patterns, analyze potential opportunities or problems in order to recommend ways forward for the dept/ function/ organization, benchmark against other organization(s) for improvement opportunities
