is the founder & driving force behind Stellar. She started
Stellar in 1998, adding value to the quality and exhaustiveness
search processes. She founded Stellar’s unique way of
doing business.The objective was to partner in the corporate
success of Stellar’s clients, “by providing management
excellent through executive search solutions.
Shailja’s own professional forte
has in consulting for the healthcare, consumer and service
industries. She personally spearheads all general management
and board level recruitments at Stellar. She counsels companies
on recruitment strategies and organization restructuring.
Shailja also advises aspiring entrepreneurs on business startup
strategy.

Shweta
Sachdeva
Principal Consultant |
Shweta spearheads the
Healthcare Vertical in the organization. Her search expertise encompasses
a spectrum of clients/partners from Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical
Devices and Life Sciences Contract Research sectors. She also consults for the
IT, Consulting and Consumer verticals at cross functional levels.
Shweta has 4 years of extensive search experience and is the youngest
Consultant on Team Stellar.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
& a Post Graduate Diploma from IIPM with a specialization
in Human Resources and Marketing.
Shweta is an avid traveler &
likes networking and meeting people.

Gaurav Mehra
Principal Consultant |
Gaurav joined Stellar in 2004
and has extensively been involved with several cross
functional assignments across the Retail, Healthcare and
Manufacturing industries. His forte lies in consulting for the
Retail sector, having worked with several clients in acquiring
talent from the Asia Pacific region, Middle East, Europe
and US for Leadership mandates.
“One of the biggest challenges faced by
organizations today is the availability of employable talent
in the country. This deficit can successfully be supplemented
by hiring talent from other countries, a trend that has gained
tremendous momentum over the last three years.”
He spearheads the Kolkata operations
and actively participates in the Business Development
initiatives for the organization.
Gaurav has a degree in Bachelors of
Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and a Post
Graduate Diploma in Business Management from EMPI Business School, New
Delhi.
Reads occasionally, enjoys watching
movies and listening to music.

Mona
joined Stellar Search & Selection in the year 2003 and has
successfully worked across diverse functions and industry. She
is a generalist and has the expertise to handle varied
searches across geographies, functions and levels. As a Search consultant,
Mona feels that timely delivery and customer delight is the
key to a long term relationship. Mona is passionate about
search since she feels that we play a crucial role in touching
and influencing lives.
Mona holds a BSc degree in Economic,
Maths and Statistics from
Mount Carmel

Bangalore and a Management degree from
IMI,
New Delhi
. Her interests lie in traveling

Kavita the newest addition to our
Stellar family leads the
Dubai
operations. While her
focus sectors in the
Middle East are Retail, Real Estate & Infrastructure
and FMCG, she is amazed at the promise the ME region has, with
it becoming such a vibrant commercial hub.
“The Middle East has come full circle beginning with the
Gulf boom in the early ‘80s, moving to the ‘Gulf Jobs’ being
seeing as second fiddle and now back again to a pulsating and
lucrative job market attracting top-brass from the world over.
With ample support from even the government to making the
Middle East a
‘knowledge-based economy’ – its leaving no stone unturned to
make the region the best-of-the-best.”
Prior to joining Stellar, Kavita honed her consulting
skills in Strategy Planning with one of
India
’s leading
advertising agency, where she worked with several blue-chip
clients and coordinated various global studies for the
group.
Kavita received her Bachelors Degree in Commerce from
Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics (
Bombay
University) and a Post Graduate
Degree in Management from Chetana’s RK Institute of Management
and Research,
Bombay
. She is also a Post
Graduate in Indian Classical Music from Gandharva
Mahavidyalaya and hopes to complete her Doctoral soon.
While Indian Classical Music is her ‘life-support’, Kavita
enjoys watching movies and is hopelessly addicted to Scrabble!
